Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Radhakrishnan to the reporters in Chennai said Corona restrictions will be intensified in Tamil Nadu after April 7th. He also added that there was no plan to implement a complete curfew in Tamil Nadu. He also said, tomorrow being Election Day (April 6th) public should wear face mask while going to polling booth to cast their Vote. Chennai, Election Commission of India said that according to Government Order released by Tamilnadu chief Secretary Rajeev Ranjan the Legislative election will be held in Tamil Nadu on April 6th in a single phase.   In this context, Governor of Tamilnadu has announced today that April 6 th will be declared a public holiday in view of the general elections and the Kanyakumari parliamentary by-elections. Significantly, political parties also suggested a public holiday on 6 th April, which could increase the turnout percentage.
