Attempts to Hijack a Passanger Plane in Iran have Reportedly been Foiled.
The Revolutionary Guards say they have successfully foiled a plot to hijack a passenger plane in Iran. A Poker 100, owned by Iran's Airlines, took off from Ahwas Airport for Mashad at 10.22pm on Thursday. The departing plane made an emergency landing at Isfahan Airport in Iran. There was a suspicious person on the plane. Authorities, suspicious of his action, informed the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Subsequently, the plane landed at Isfahan Airport. He also confessed to trying to divert and hijack the plane when questioned by authorities. Authorities subsequently arrested the man. No further details have been released about the alleged abductee.
