Tamil Nadu government has issued an order to ban festivals and religious gatherings in Tamil Nadu from 10th of April to curb the spread of Corona Virus disease. In India, Corona virus surges rapidly in states like Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. In this context, today Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a video conference with the state's Chief Ministers.   Maharashtra in Curfew Due to the rise in corona virus cases, Maharashtra reports a steady increase in death rate. The government of Maharashtra is imposing new restrictions to control the spread of corona virus. Complete curfew was enforced in some districts and night curfew has been imposed across the state . The ever-bustling city of Mumbai is subdued after 8 pm. People are barred from attending political and religious gatherings across the state. Government announced that only 20 people can attend the funerals with strict social distancing along with face mask. The continuing increase in corona infections has caused great concern to the people. Meanwhile, government is planning to implement daytime curfew to deal with the health crisis. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday ordered the authorities to prepare a curfew plan that should not have a major economic impact. Night Curfew -- Maharashtra A complete curfew, if implemented in Maharashtra, it will adversely affect the people and state economy, said the Minister. Corona’s impact in Maharashtra affects approximately 40,000 per day.  To control the steep increase, night curfew has been imposed across the state. The ever-bustling city of Mumbai is subdued after 8 pm. Does night curfew be of great benefit to bring down the numbers? Maharashtra Government enforced night curfew

  Night curfew To bring Corona under control, Maharashtra Government enforced night curfew. The State is facing 2nd Corona wave, reason being the number of infections a day exceeded 40,000. Due to this, night curfew has been imposed to bring the corona under control.  Following this, Prime Minister Uttam Thackeray ordered the authorities to prepare a comprehensive curfew plan so as not to affect the economy too much.
