Interruption by Indian traveler; Air France plane makes an emergency landing
Sofia-- On a flight from the French capital Paris to New Delhi, the plane made an emergency landing at Sofia Airport in Bulgaria after being interrupted by an Indian passenger. When the flight took off last evening according to local time, a passenger from India was involved in a voting argument with fellow passengers. He was also involved in a scuffle with flight attendants. The cockpit door also knocked fast. Shocked by the passenger's aggressive action, the crew asked permission to make an emergency landing. Accordingly, the plane landed at Sofia Airport in Bulgaria. The plane took off again and landed in Delhi after the rioting passenger was dropped off. Details, including the name of the passenger who disrupted the flight, have not been released. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
