District Collector Dinesh Ponraj Oliver Tanjore, Baskaran and his wife Maniammai hail from Sornakaadu village near Peravurani in Tanjore District. They dwell in a cottage and tried to build a tile house. But people near by have been creating problems regarding their land. Maniammai, texted a complaint to the Collector through WhatsApp about the on going issue. On receiving the complaint, District Collector Dinesh Ponraj Oliver directed Peravurani Thasildar to look into the land issue complaint. Thasildar arrived right away to the spot for inspection. He disclosed that the land was classified as punjai land and was suitable for building house constructions. Following this, Collector Dinesh Ponraj Oliver visited Maniammai house in Sornakaadu village last night and handed over her house patta in order to fulfill Maniammai 's request within 24 hours.
