Nearly twenty workers have been diagnosed positive and admitted in the Cholera Hospital located at Thondiarpet. Similarly, eleven people have been conformed positive for corona virus in a apartment in Anna Nagar, Chennai. In Tamil Nadu, 2,400 people were diagnosed with corona infection in a single day  today. Chennai -- Houses and Apartments -- 30% Sales increase

  Increase in sales According to property consultancy Anarc, this current year between January to March the sales of apartments and houses increased. In this regard, it is further reported that there is a increase of 30% in sales comes from major 7 cities. A total of 58,300 houses are estimated to be sold. Of these, Mumbai and Pune accounted for 53 per cent. The reduction in stamp duty, home loan interest rates and discounts from construction companies were the main reasons for the increase in sales. In Chennai, home sales grew by 30 per cent. Housing prices have risen by 1% to 2% during this period. Unfinished Elevated Corridor -- Ramp Removed -- Maduravoyal, Chennai.

    Ramp abutment removed, to ease flow of traffic at Maduravoyal’s unfinished elevated corridor. This black spot has been designated as an accident-prone zone, department of traffic police said.   The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has initiated to remove   a portion of concrete abutment from the Chennai Port-Maduravoyal elevated corridor at Maduravoyal on the Poonamallee High Road. Sources in the traffic police said, 18 meter wide of the road remained inaccessible due to this structure. “Traffic slows down considerably. During peak hours, this becomes an uncontrollable problem,” an official said. Meanwhile, the process of preparing the preliminary report for the construction of a proposed Double-Decker flyover from Chennai Port to Maduravoyal is under way. Apple -- iPhone 12 production in India, Tamilnadu

Apple's iPhone manufacturing started in India. This Tech giant said that India is the world's second biggest market for smartphones. Apple's contract manufacturer Foxconn a Taiwanese firm will assemble the device in its plant in Tamil Nadu state near Chennai. Apple said "We are proud to manufacture iPhone 12 in India for our local customers." The trade war between Beijing and Washington made Apple to shift some of it's production unit from China to other neighbouring countries. Also other sources said that from November Foxconn is moving iPad and MacBook assembly line to Vietnam from China. India's Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad tweeted following the news of iPhone 12 production in India. He quoted saying "Nice to see our efforts to make India a big hub for mobile and components manufacturing and is attracting global attention," also he added "This will create jobs in large numbers." Corona Virus control area to be implemeted soon in Chennai --

  Chennai, Corona Virus case infection in Chennai is up again, soon restricted areas will come into effect. In a street if 3 to 4 people are affected with the disease, The Chennai Corporation will temporarily declare as Corona restricted area. Totally 1380 streets in Chennai were reported to be infected with Corona Virus till Monday morning. Peaceful Living -- Chennai 4th place

   Central Government Released a List. Which cities in India are eligible for Peaceful Living?  Bangalore is one of the most auspicious cities in India to live in peace. Chennai is in 4th place. Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri yesterday released the 'Municipalities Performance Code - 2020' and the list of cities eligible for Quite Living. In these 2 categories, cities with a population of more than 10 lakh are divided into smaller cities and the top 10 cities are selected. The cities are as follows. Bangalore has the highest number of livable cities with a population of over 10 lakh. The cities of Pune and Ahmedabad are ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively. Chennai ranks 4th in the list. Surat is ranked 5th and Navi Mumbai is ranked 6th. The city of Coimbatore is in 7th place. Vadodara, Indore and Greater Mumbai are ranked 8th to 10th. Shimla tops the list of cities with a population of less than 10 lakh. Bhubaneswar, Silvassa and Kakinada are next, f
